We are your hosts, Jenn & Gil. We have two young kids and love traveling with them.
After traveling and staying at other vacation rentals for many years, we made the decision to purchase our first vacation home in the Great Smoky Mountains. We spent months remodeling and refurnishing the cabin and loved every moment of it. We later opened our doors for families to stay at our cabin and haven’t looked back.
We now have a few cabins, each with it’s own unique draws. Each one has been carefully crafted to make you feel right at home. We are humble to have hosted hundreds of guests through the years and looking forward to sharing our homes with many more.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you can receive a full refund if you cancel thirty-days before your scheduled arrival. If cancelation within 14-days before scheduled arrival, a partial refund may be available. Please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you with the cancellation process.

Lovely cabin with everything we needed. We especially appreciated things like the Keurig and the pods that were supplied and a few detergent pods were also supplied. The fire pit was fun & we enjoyed roasting marshmallows & hot dogs. There were even long handled forks in the kitchen! The beds were very comfortable
We enjoyed our stay Our son had a soccer tournament at the close by fields and it was very convenient There was a hiccup when we arrived at the cabin that did require a delay However, Gilbert was very responsive and made it right so we were very appreciative of the care we received
Gilbert’s place was perfect for our young family. Being so close to Silver Dollar City was super helpful for those essential afternoon naps (IYKYK). We spent 90% of our time outside on the beautiful deck enjoying the scenery while sitting next to the fire pit. I highly recommend booking Gilbert’s place!
