Family-Friendly Stays in the Smokies & Branson

Our stay at Theo’s Saddle Ridge Lodge was excellent! The property was exactly as described and then some! The house was exceptionally clean, the rooms and furnishings were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bunk room with rock climbing wall and slide was a HUGE hit with our grandchildren. They actually enjoyed “going to their room” for quiet time -LOL The downstairs TV/game room was an added treat. We did not use the hot tub as it was VERY hot and humid the week we stayed. But we did eat outside on the upstairs deck one evening. The table, chairs and L-shaped sofa provided ample room for our party of 13. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary items; dishes, cups, utensils, etc and the combo coffee pot/Keurig k-cup machine was a great treat! There were plenty of extra pillows/ blankets if one needed more than what was provided on the beds. We traveled with a couple toddlers so the baby gate and pack-n-play were helpful. We visited Silver Dollar City a couple days so the location of this house was PERFECT! It’s just a couple minutes away.After a hot day at SDC, the kids enjoyed swimming at the community pool. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool so for those of us who had too much sun during the HOT afternoon, the indoor pool was a welcome sight.Our hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly. We had no issues but they were very easy to contact and responded quickly. We will absolutely stay here again!

This house was great! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and all the furniture and beds were comfortable. Our kids loved watching a movie while swimming, and even though the pool is very small, they spent hours and hours in it. Gil was also great with communication, even when there was a power outage around midnight (whole neighborhood was out). We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is in a fantastic location, very close to Gatlinburg and the drive up is easy and not challenging at all. It’s a peaceful spot where you can truly relax and unwind. The cabin has everything you might need (well, except a kettle, but we are from UK and we drink hot tea no matter the weather). Gilbert, the host was wonderful. We had an issue with the internet (due to storm few days earlier) and he immediately jumped on it and did everything he could to resolve it as quickly as possible. We also loved the pool, such a great addition and perfect for cooling off after a day out. A great stay - highly recommend.

Great host, very responsive and the cabin is great

I came to Gatlinburg for a quick trip with my grandchildren and the house was perfect for us with private pool. We had everything we needed for our stay and our host Gilbert was amazing! So responsive and accommodating. I have already recommended the cabin to some of my other friends! Thanks again Gilbert for sharing your home with us!

Enjoyed our time at your place. Your communication was amazing and replies were almost immediate. There were a couple items that needed some minor repair but these did not impact our stay and you did offer to address them during our stay if we chose. We had a chance to see the local bear stop by (from the safety of the porch) and check that we had locked the trash box. We were a group of 8 and had plenty of space. Thank you for being accommodating and sharing your place with us.

The cabin was a fantastic place to spend a weekend and the pool was so fun!

We loved staying here we even added an extra night at the last minute. Our kids had so much fun using the slide in the bunk room, very close to SDC, and lots of room for all of us. It was very clean and a very nice place. The host is super quick to respond to any and all questions. Couldn’t have been better!

This is a great location with easy access to all of the Branson activities. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We really enjoyed our time here!

We enjoyed our stay, Gil was very helpful and responsive. The house was central to alot of areas with a lot to do. House was beautiful!
